Newbie WINE help
Hi,
Can someone give me some pointers on how to use WINE.
I have SUSE 9.2 installed and have WINE installed as well.
However,I don't know how to use it.
I've searched around and not found any quick easy to understand tutorial.
If, say,I wanted to install Dreamweaver, how would I do that?
Do I just install as I would in Windows and then run it by clicking the .exe ?
thanks,
Lud

Thanks jsutton.
That looks very interesting.
I've never heard of Wine tools.
Looks like it may make life easier.

No Problem...
I've been using it myself to install IE6 on a machine or two (the time-punch system at my work uses an IE only interface called WorkBrain ).
By the way, this is my 100th post to LinuxQuestions.

Hi jsutton,
I might ahve to pass on using Winetools.
It seems that they strongly recommend using Wine version 20041019.
However, I can't find any rpm's for that version of Wine under Suse 9.2

I ignored their advice about the Wine version, and installed it with the latest. It seemed to work fine (outside of giving me a warning about my Wine version on startup).
