Hello / Installing 1st distro

Hello To All !

Just registered & wanted to say hello. Looking forward to reading &
learning as much about Linux as possible. I'll be installing my
1st distro soon - decided to go with Linux Mint after some research.

If anyone has any good links outside of this forum (www.linuxquestions.org) on the basics, I'd appreciated them.

Welcome to LQ. Besides this forum, I'd check with the distro's forum. Since Mint is based off Ubuntu, you can probably find a lot of useful information there too.
