gnome to kde!!
i'm running red hat 8.0 and when i run startx x windows comes up. the load screen shows but like some of the images in gnome and text look like when you drag something across your screen and they leave a trail. that's what it looks like. I can get it to go away by like moving the menu off the screen then back or highlighting whatever got scuwed. I had had this problem fixed before by switching managers, but i didn't do it. I just wnat to know how i can switch from gnome to kde or how to fix what gnome is doing wrong
