The packages have many dependencies. You can see the order here: http://gnome.org/start/2.6/notes/rninstallation.html

Is there any distro that has (or will have) GNOME 2.6. I don't really want to download it myself

when i want install ORBit2-2.10.0 after ./congigure i have an error: "

DL-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libIDL-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'libIDL-2.0' found

configure: error: Library requirements ( libIDL-2.0 >= 0.7.4 glib-2.0 >= 2.0.0 gobject-2.0 >= 2.0.0 gmodule-2.0 >= 2.0.0) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them."

I installed the new libIDL (0.8.3) from http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/libIDL/0.8/
whats wrong??

Redwolf_Eddy, all distros will. It's just a matter of time. You should have unofficial packages in a month.

Rathien, there's a conflict between old and new version of the library. You need to do exactly what the error message suggests - find libIDL-2.0.pc, it's probably somewhere in /usr/local (use locate command) and then add the directory it's in to PKG_CONFIG_PATH, this way:
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/your/new/dir:$PKG_CONFIG_PATH
To make the change permanent add the line above to /etc/profile or your private /home/yourlogin/.bashrc or .profile.
