gftp not showing directory files


hi all,

i have install vsftp and gftp on ubuntu.
when i want to connect to remote user(host3.v6.ground.station) with gftp, i gives this message and does not show any file of remote user.-----

Looking up host3.v6.ground.station
Trying host3.v6.ground.station:21
Connected to host3.v6.ground.station:21

after this ,showing connecting........but no file from remote user

i don't know where is problem.
"netstat -a | grep ftp " shows this ---
tcp 0 0 *:ftp *:* LISTEN

plz help me....how to proceed...

Hi,

This could be a passive vs active ftp issue. Try changing it in gftp setting for the site you try to reach.
