Get iwconfig interface name by nickname
I'm trying to search iwconfig to find an interface with the nickname "Test" and have the interface ID (ie. wlan0) returned as a variable for a bash script.
I've looked at using grep and similar but can't quite work out how to piece it all together.
Has anyone come across this before or know of a quick way of achieving this?
I would be very grateful.
