FTP server


Hi,
I have a ftp server in red hat server 5.1 with 2GB RAM and C2D processor.
I am facing a problem in ftp server that when I used to copy data about to 8 GB or 6 GB from windows mycomputer address then all contents can not be copy. when i see in ftp server i just see the folder structure and i did not see any contents in the any folder.

Please help me in this same!!

What command/programme are you using to upload the files? For clarity, you're trying to recursively upload a folder and its subfolders and their contents, and the total size of all of that is 6 to 8 GB?

More critical information

You might also want to mention what FTP server you are running, what kernel (uname -a output), what filesystem is involved (EXT2, EXT3, EXT4, XFS, JFS, etc) that might help us identify possible factors of interest.
