ftp/http installation problem

hello all,

this is my second thread regarding this topic, but still i didnt get my answer.

i am able to access file via ftp/http through my local server.

but when i installing RHEL in client via ftp , by keeping linux installation file in /var/ftp/pub directory of server.

giving servername as my server ip address..
and directory having linux is /pub

its showing error again and again.. UNABLE TO RETRIEVE IMAGES/STAGE2.IMG

I tried alot but its not working , plz someone tell me why this is happening..

I disabled SElinux and Firewell at server, even after that showing same error..

i am following this link for installation.. http://www.computernetworkingnotes.c...stallation.htm

Thanks & Regards.

First I suggest you please read the LQ rules - double posting is not allowed and should be avoided.

LQ is a community driven site - nobody is FORCED or PAID to help you. Thus making statements like this may result in people ignoring your posts.

Code:
UNABLE TO RETRIEVE IMAGES/STAGE2.IMG
This message is generally posted when the location of your installation; as defined in your kickstart, does not contain a valid Red Hat install image. Alternately it could be that the box you're trying to install is unable to connect to the network location where the Red Hat installation files are.

@Mods - can you please merge this with http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...lation-809283/ which is a duplicate of this.

First, double posting is a bad thing - post reported to mods.
Second, we're all volunteers, nobody here is forced to rush to help you *right now*. If you want that, go get paid support.
