I've just fresh installed Debian 10.2 (buster), with xfce. I wish to install and configure unnatended-upgrades.
When I issue the command 'apt-get install unattended-upgrades', I get 'unable to locate unattended-upgrades'.
The sources.list contains:
Is this package only available for gnome? The debian wiki states that unattended-upgrades should be installed by default, but I am unable to located it in any way. I've tried to find it with dpkg -l, apt-cache search, apropos, but was unable to find it.
I've also tried to download it manually but I am unable to install it because of missing dependencies.
Is there any other package that replaces it in debian/ubuntu or does it have any other name or a special repo?
PS My repos are accessible and working, I can find and install any other packages.
I've misspelled the name and was unable to find it. It should be: unattended-upgrades
//later edit
I've misspelled the name. It should be: unattended-upgrades I later correct it.
