Fonts not showing up in xfontsel

Made directory called ~/.fonts and moved some fonts in there.

Then updated my xorg.conf by adding this:
Code:
FontPath "/home/cupoftea/.fonts/"
EDIT: I also tossed the same font into /usr/share/fonts/misc/

But the fonts are still not showing up in xfontsel.

What format are the fonts in?

xfontsel will only show bitmap fonts. If you want to see all your TTF fonts installed try wxFontView.
