font installed, visible w/xfontsel, but not on program menus.


I installed ProFontWin into my fonts/misc folder. I've scrolled through fontsdir. It's in there. As I mentioned in the title, I can run xfontsel and see the font. I can use the font in a program that allows me to explicitly define the font in a text file.

How can I make this font visible in my program (specifically Kate) configuration menus?
