Finding Linux Kernel/Mandrake 10.0

I am new to linux and have Mandrake 10.0 installed. I am trying to install a usb wireless network adapter. To run a make command I need to point to my linux kernel. The default place for this is usr/src/linux but the only directory that is in the usr/src is an RPM directory. Does anyone know if possibly I need to reinstall or where I can find this kernel information.

Install the kernel source. It should be on your install cd's. Install the source for the running version of the kernel. (It may have the source for a 2.4 and 2.6 version kernel)
