Finding Linux kernel and game developers

All;

First let me apologize if this is the wrong thread to post this request.

I've been in talks with a group of folks interested in starting a new Linux based company. This new company to be successful will need the ability to pull off the following:

1) Creation of a new distro based on key specific features of various distros available today

2) Creation of new Linux games or vastly improvement on the Linux games available today

Here's my questions:

1) How / where do I find and recruit top notch Linux kernel, application and game developers?

2) How would we best go about soliciting open source developers to help us out and what's the best way to manage these type of development processes ?

Any tips, thoughts, past experiences, warnings, etc would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance for any advice you may have for me.

Also if anyone reading this is interested in learning more please pop me an email at info@ciberforce.net

First off let me ish you luck

1) YAY new distro My only comment is make sure it actually utilizes todays technologies. Most gamers will have at least a i686 processor so definitly try and make it an i686 optimized linux and of course make a 64bit enhanced one too Other wise soudns good Maybe you may consider (although this is super tough I am sure) but maybe try to make a 3D interface? It would be cool and as a gamer I would think it would be exciting. Also I usually tend to preferred seeing my window managers untouched other then added menu options that are distro specific (like update utilities and what not) :-D But thats just me....

2) Good luck hopefully ATi will get their crap together....

Questions:

1) Well off to a good start post on message boards recruit people maybe even start a website.
2) Unfortuantly I cannot help you here but I am sure if you email some distro groups like debian and other big ones or even the smaller ones they would be more then happy to give you advice.
