Failed Java EULA acceptance locked me out

Argh! A newbie question, I'm sure...I'm pretty happy that I now have my machine online and am getting her all streamlined as I like but when I tried to dpkg Limewire (I know, now, that there are better ones, but I still need to get Sun Java 6 installed anyway) but it failed because I couldn't figure out how to accept the dang EULA. Now I can't do anything with it due to dependency failures as follows:
Code:
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of limewire-basic:
 limewire-basic depends on sun-java6-jre | icedtea-java7-jre | sun-java6-jdk | icedtea-java7-jdk | sun-java5-jre | sun-java5-jdk; however:
  Package sun-java6-jre is not installed.
  Package icedtea-java7-jre is not installed.
  Package sun-java6-jdk is not installed.
  Package icedtea-java7-jdk is not installed.
  Package sun-java5-jre is not installed.
  Package sun-java5-jdk is not installed.
dpkg: error processing limewire-basic (--configure):
 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
 limewire-basic
I received a message stating that I needed to run:
Code:
carvenimage:/home/scott# dpkg --configure -a
Which brings me back to the same message...that Limewire failed to install.

How do I get rid of this mess, please! And what is the best way to get this java package installed?

I just noticed an icon near the time which indicates: that I need to close Aptitude or Synaptic before it can do its job too...so I have all of this going on and no idea how to identify what process it is that is causing the issues!

Thanks!
Mahalo
