error installing linux

Actually I have loaded mandriva2007 mitesse. I found a post that says I need to use the command /usr/sbin/draklive-install to lauch the wizard.
It worked

I just have a question. mandriva metisse comes with gnome as default. Is there a way I can change to kde. How to be able to have kde instead of gnome

I am not sure whether you are going to see my message nexxus. mandriva Metisse isn't working for me because it comes with gnome only.
I am trying to install mandria one from the link you sent me earlier. I only have the .iso file in the cd when I burn it. How am I supposed to extract the files and folders. When I reboot, Mandriva installation doesn't start, probably because I have the .iso file in the cd
plz help me out

You don't extract any files. You burn the .iso using the option to make a data cd from an image. If you tell me what burning software you use I can give you step by step instructions.

I figured I needed to burn the image not the file. I got it to work. Thanks.
