Unhappy Eclipse on Fedora 9

Hi Everyone,

Please help me as i am very new to Eclipse World!!!

i am using fedora 9..i'm trying to use eclipse for the first time but facing some problem..

i have made a project using "vi editor"..but now im trying to do that the same in eclipse..basically import the files from the file system.

Problems::

1) I have written a Makefile(as i had done it earlier in vi)..now when i try to make it through eclipse(ver 3.2 ) it doesn't happen..it build the one which the system generated also cleans the same when i do "make clean" ...

2) I somehow build the project by rt.clk on the project -> Make Targets-> Create ...then i cant not clean it when i do project clean, it cleans the objects files that was being created by the system..and not mine..

I have no clue how to link the my Makefile so tht if i do make clean then my exeucutable should be cleaned and not the ones created by the system..

Thanks
Priyab
