There was the old RH 9 before they split into RHEL & Fedora, and Fedora 9 is in beta now...
maybe i am getting confused over rh 6.1/ 6.2/ 7.1/ 7.2 ...
i am on rh-9 now i dont have any need to install fc-8 eventhough redhat finally dropped official support of rh-9 in favor of rhel/ fc.

got xubutu but need drivers

I got xubutu, but lost windows, now I need my drivers. On ibm's wegsight it offers drivers for linux but it wants to know if you are using novell, red hat or turbolinux. What is Xubutu, or where do I go for my drivers? I have a IBM Lenovo Z61m 9450 a36 laptop, exactly what my config is I dont know. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you didn't over write the M$ partition then you can use the M$ cd to recover the partition. Just use the 'fixboot'. Once you have that don e you can use the Linux install or a LiveCD to boot then repair the linux boot loader.
