DSL Connection Not Found In SuSE 9.1.

i just downloaded Suse 9.1 live cd and i tried it out and every thing except two things were a problem...

1. it doesnt recognize my sound card
2. when i try to browse the internet...SuSE does not recognize the connection..

anyone have any suggestions?

Did you setup you ethernet interface to use DHCP?

umm no...i dont know that much about linux..im just now learning..
can u take me through step by step?
like where do i go to find it and stuff...

Step by Step! Well I will give you a very very very quick how:

Yast > Network Devices > Network Card

Then setup your network device. I mean I can only go so far on, "the connection" you say.

This is assuming your not dialing up to the internet via modem? In this case use Yast > Network Devices > Modem;
