driver downloads

I have switched to Linux and now a program I had on Windows doens't work anymore. The webmaster didn't know what programs would allow me to download his website. I want to download e-sword.net
Can anyone give me a clue. I saved it to my Buffalo hard drive...I hope. I hope it was not just the link, otherwise I've lost all my notes.

Applications that run in Windows don't run on Linux. The preferable solution would be to run a native Linux application but if it is not available you could try running your application in WINE as a workaround. To run e-Sword in WINE see for instance instructions here and the WINE documentation. If you get it to run and it works for you, fine, else check out Xiphos (formerly know as GnomeSword, requires GNOME) or Bibletime (requires QT).
