When I try to install a program I get an error message telling me that I need to run dpkg --configure -a so I run that script in terminal and it does nothing.I'm still fairly new at this, so can some one through some ideas my way?

Thanx.

P.S. I need a reply A.S.A.P.

Did you try installing the program again? It may look like it done nothing, but in my experience, once you run that command, it will correct the error, and you can install the program (I had the same problem yesterday)
