Pick a distro, go to their website, and follow the link to download it. Do you have any specific questions?

There is no "the ISO LINUX". There are many different ISOs of many different Linux distributions. See the link in my previous post.

Maybe you need to try a live/installable distro like Puppy, SliTaz or AntiX - if you just want to run from an ISO image in a virtual machine.

I can assure you that the Fedora ISO images do work in virtual machines (as well they ought!) just fine as I use them all the time.
Please type in full exactly what problems you are experiencing and, perhaps, somebody will be able to help.

You have not provided enough information for us to help you with the problem. I suggest that you look at the following to help you formulate a question that will provide information for us to help you;
Quote:
FYI: I suggest that you look at 'How to Ask Questions the Smart Way' so in the future your queries provide information that will aid us in diagnosis of the problem or query.

FYI: Netiquette is a set of social conventions that facilitate interaction over networks, ranging from Usenet and mailing lists to blogs and forums.
Look at this for VirtualBox information; http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch01.html

Look at this for VMware; http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/mic...xternalId=1002

Above links are just shots in the dark since we really do not have enough information to target specifics.

EDIT: Download Linux to choose available ISO here at LQ for downloads.

Hope this helps.
Have fun & enjoy!
