default sources file?

What should my default sources file look like for fedora CORE 2?

I thought I just added a mirror, but I'm having problems getting updates. I know that a lot of mirrors are busy, but when I get through, it says that my system is up to date. But I have the following error:

Quote:
The applet has been unable to access the following information sources in its last attempts: fedora-core-2 @ ftp://mirror.stanford.edu/pub/mirror...ra/linux/core, updates-released-fc2 @ ftp://mirror.stanford.edu/pub/mirrors/fedora/linux/core
My question is, does having a "/" at the end of the urls make a difference? Am I supposed to continue the url with "2/i386/os/" ?

I already went ahead and used updatedb, yum update and yum upgrade... but I'd like to know this for future reference.

This is my first few days with Linux... much more enjoyable than Windows, I must say!
