My apt sources.list file his mess up!


Hello,

I'm using Debian Woody 3.0 r2 for sparc and my apt sources.list is really mess up. By the way i use only command line (no windows manager) i need to rebuild my apt server list. I try some server but i got error (i must have a list for the sparc).

but where are your packages in your site, I mean, in your machine, on Cd's.

if you have CD's

just use apt-add cdrom to create your sources.list

if you create a web server to store your Cd ( it 's better , I do that)

you add to your sources.list

line like :
deb http://nameOfServeur directory/ ( with slash at the end

Here my apt sources.list, they do not work, is that because the a error some where or that i don't use the correct http/ftp path ? (i only use the CD 1)

i believe you need to place the path in the listings

as such...

deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ unstable main
deb-src http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ unstable main
