Dash Cam card reading in ubuntu

I just plugged the 32g card with the reader into the lower USB port on my computer and everything worked fine?????? I then tried to make it work on the others and it didn't. I then tried to get information from my camera on the upper ports and it worked fine??????

Now I am completely discouraged but thank you for you help anyway.

Hmm, yeah inconsistent issues like that are really hard to nail down.

When it's not working, post the results of those 3 commands above, it will help lead you to the problem.
