Cool Create Freebsd image from it's sources

Hi all,

The thing is that i have installed latest release of freebsd on a x86 machine. Now , i have all the sources under /usr/src directory.I want to create an image for x86 machine using these sources.I will be using the image to boot another x86 machine. You all must wondering if I have the ISO images used to install ,then why not do it again. The problem is I work in BSP(board support packet) team and we need to constantly do changes and create image and boot the board. We have the knowledge to build image on some of the RTOSES but freebsd is relatively new for us.

Please be as descriptive in your answers as possible.

Thanks
Saurabh

Assuming hardware is the same, why not build one the way you want it then Clone it? Lots of Cloning/Ghosting software out there for Linux these days.

Just a thought.

As for building BSD disks, you should find that information in the developer section on the FreeBSD website.
