Freebsd ISO image question

Full FreeBSD 5.X ISO images consist of 3 or 2 cds?

version-RELEASE-arch-bootonly.iso
version-RELEASE-arch-disc1.iso
version-RELEASE-arch-disc2.iso

Do I download all three and put them on 3 seperate cds, or does disc1.iso have the bootonly.iso included.

boot only is just boot only...and install from FTP or something else if I recall correctly

disc1 has main install stuff

disc2 has like extras

You only need disc1 to get your OS up

Yes, scuzzo84 is correct. You only need the disc 1 ISo image to get FreeBSD up and running then what I would recommend (if you'e got the speed/bandwidth) is to install from FTP so you get the current files and all that fancy stuff.

Hope that helps you out.

Disc 2 is mostly or entirely binary packages. That's the only time I ever needed it.
