copy folder problem

hey, i got a really stupid question.
I got 2 folders:
/home/Tom Ben
Now i want to copy everything from folder /home/Tom Ben to /home/Tom/Ben, but im getting error: /home/Tom Ben does have a folder within this folder that needs to be copied asswel (/home/Tom Ben/junk)

cp /home/Tom\ Ben /home/Tom/Ben
cp: omitting directory `/home/Tom Ben'
