I'm running Xubuntu, and have had problems with the video card driver since i've had it. i've seen many posts from others with the same card as me (RADEON 8500LE 128MB). Every post i've read has been different. What i did to make my card work a little better is replace "vesa" with "radeon" in the xorg.conf file. This works a lot better, but i can't seem to get the 3d graphics working. When i install the fglrx drivers, my computer freezes up. does anybody have step-by-step instructions on how i can squeeze out the tiny bit of power that my old video card is capable of? I love Ubuntu and Xubuntu and i DEFINATELY DONT WANT TO GO BACK TO WINDOWS, so help would be very appreciated!!! THANKS!
