I am using an AVerMedia TVCard (Bt878). When I start XAWTV I am not able to get any channels.
I tried the xawtv -hwscan command and the output seems correct. The TV Card is found.
I also tried to run scantv to search for all the channels and create a .xawtv configuration file, but even with this configuration file there is no reception, when I start xawtv
(I run a dualboot system and under WinXP I can watch TV, so I assume, that everything is hooked up correct).
make sure you run v4l-conf first. if that reports the card as found, then it should be working fine. just make sure you use the correct settings in the program. also is the card actaully set up in /etc/modules.conf?
