Compiz fusion desktop cube not working.

So, Here is my problem...

I am running Linux mint 6, and I want desktop cube to work,, I have enabled it in the compiz manager thing, but it wont show a cube when I do the key combination, it instead shows a 'wall' with 3/4 desktops i can cycle through.
I can, however, press ctrl+alt+left/right arrow key and the workspace will change an a cube-like way, but it is as if i am 'inside' the cube, watching the cube spin...
if that makes sense.

What I would like to happen is for ctrl+alt+down to show a cube where I can move and zoom in and out and stuff like that.
I think i had it going properly earlier, but I am not sure when/how
Thanks.

Tried with mouse already? You could achieve your wanted key combinations in the Compiz settings, but I think if you have enabled both of those effects (the "wall" and "cube" things), the default is that CRTL+ALT+DOWN brings you the wall, CTRL+ALT+LEFT/RIGHT switches to another desktop (in a "cube" way) and CTRL+ALT+mouse-grab-and-drag turns the cube freely.

Note that if you have only two desktops, the "cube" is actually just a plane with two sides, and if you want, you can set the "cube" to be a cylinder instead of a real cube.
