Compiling stock kernel with modules on like default FC3

Is there an easy way to grab a stock kernel
and compile with all or required modules on, so I
don't have to go through the entire config getting
confused as to what is what?

I tried allmodconfig on the latest 2.6.39 but
it bombed out on my FC3 machine.

As was suggested on your other thread, FC3 is so far out of support, this is fruitless.

Fedora 3 has been released on 8th Nov 2004.
You are just using a distro 10 years old.
Why?
