compiling rtl8192CU proprietary drivers

I blacklisted rtl8192cu kernel module, rebooted, and tried to compile the proprietary driver I found here.

I get the following error message when I try to run install.sh , what should I do?

Code:

what exactly did you download ?
most drivers on that page are for the older 2.6 kernel and some for the 3.0 kernel

but i did not see any for the 3.8 version of the kernel

also you are trying to build software on the Desktop
"/home/gabi/Desktop/RTL8192xC_USB_linux_v3.4.4_4749.20121105"

that might not work out well
linux is not windows

I downloaded 2.6 - 3.0 kernel drivers, I hoped it would also work for 3.8.
I read that the rtl8192cu module in linux kernel does not work very well, so I guess I'll use ndiswrapper.

If itś in the kernel, it's likely to be the best version about. They don't add bugs to put them in the kernel!

I have used 'staging drivers'(=not of kernel quality) before, and they function.
