Question comcast cd .exe

I need help getting my external modem (rca) to connect to my cable internet provider(comcast). i used a cd but it first didnt work. after 5 minutes it started on its own. it says alot of things are wrong and was wondering if anyone has this problem if so what can i do?

adamx6 - can you post any error messages or specific problems? be sure to search the site... there's a fair number of posts about cable modems that might help.
