Question Checking Disk Space thru console


Is there a quick simple way of checking how much space i have free on my hard drive. Or even better since i have a nice little blackbox wm set up how about something for gkrellm? hehehe newbie questions. I thought a gentoo stage 1 install was suppose to make me learn. but that was a year ago now

to check you diskspace in the console just type
df -h
