Centos 6 - gnuplot issue

Hello, i've HDP 2.4 (Centos 6.7) and OpenTSDB v2.2.1 installed.
On using the OpenTSDB UI, i get the following error ->

<pre>Gnuplot stderr:

set term png small size 1260,485
"/tmp/tsd/6ae88a28.gnuplot", line 1: unknown or ambiguous terminal type; type just 'set terminal' for a list

any ideas on what needs to be done?
I'm stuck because of this issue, hence appreciate your response on this.
