cannot ping

Hi all,

im a

with a linux cluster.

1) of late 2 of the nodes dont respond to either ssh or ping.
error: destination host unreachable

2) if i do ssh into one of the other working nodes, how do i
view the contents of the node?

try pinging other machines from the troubled machines. check if you have a firewall running which is droping the packets on the troubled machines.

hi manthram,

everything was alright initially, i could ping all machines,
but during the execution of a parallel processing program,
i exited the code abruptly. but the lam daemons were still running,
but now after reboot, the lam daemons have disappered and so
has my access. so how do i put these nodes back into the
cluster network again. the admn is a

and so am i.
