Exclamation Cannot configure three monitor display Ubuntu

Looking for a newb-type step by step process for configuring ubuntu to 1) recognize both the onboard video card as well as the PCI graphics card and 2) how to set up three displays with separate desktops (able to mouse-over from screen to screen). So far the 20+ hours searching online has yielded excessively complex instructions, inappropriate instructions, or ancient posts. Is this config even possible? Again, I am learning so the instructions need to be very deliberate.

PNY GeForce FX 5200 PCI 256 MB 2 Port VGA + S-Video Graphics Card VCGFX522PEB and an onboard display apdapter (Intel P4 Chipset 845GV).
