Can ping IP's, but not names. Why???

HI!
Running Linux 8.0, I can ping IP addresses and connect to websites via IP addresses, but not if I use the name.
For example, I cannot ping linuxquestions.org, but CAN ping 64.179.4.149
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

you need to know your DNS server setting and put it in /etc/resolv.conf

Got them in there. Originally had our webhost DNS Servers in there (209.238.9.50 and 209.238.9.51) and just changed them to our ISP (204.147.80.5 and 206.196.128.1).
Same results for both, can ping IP's but not website names.

Aaahhhhh, I can breathe again! Its fixed.
Qwest changed their DNS Servers and were nice enough to not let us know!
Yet another strike against Qwest......
