Can't find local IP Address in ifconfig on Kali Linux, am I doing something wrong?
I've just installed Kali Linux, and I need to find the local IP, so I searched up how to, so I input ifconfig. I'm trying to look for the line (inet addr:xxx.xxx.xxx) but can't find it anywhere, there is inet and inet6, but nothing that looks like an ip.
and also has a line saying UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING MULTICAST
Please help, I'm pretty clueless but trying to get better, as far as I've seen this hasn't be solved anywhere else cause it hasn't been a problem cause it's just there.
