Can't load "glx" in xorg.conf

I can get my Radeon X800 to work now in Fedora Core 2, but I had to go into the xorg.conf file and take out the line "Load glx" to make it recognize my card. Don't I need "glx" to load? I know I can't check my frame rate without it .
Also.. I still can't set my screen refresh rate any higher than 85 Hz. How can I set that? Thanks

yea .. go look thru a xfree86-4

copy the section called "Module" ... for some reason i find xorg doesn't put this into its config file itself, but it needs it
