BT Broadband USB Problem
Hello all
I am trying to move away from windows, so I have just installed Fedora 3.
All was going so well until I tried to configure my USB BT Broadband Voyager modem. I have called BT to see if they have any drivers for Linux and was told NO by a very confused help desk person.
Linux does not seem to have picked up the USB modem at all.
If it is not possible I will have to buy a switch/router but it would be nice to get this working.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
Cheers
Michael

Check the make and model. I have heard some of the BT ones do have drivers available. You would need to check the HCL section of LQ and perhaps do a search on Google. ebuyer have a very cheap ethernet modem/router combo at around £30 and they work well as i have a similar version.
