Hi,

Is the Dynamode 360 A usb modem usable in Linux ?

Have trawled the net without success

USB modems are usually a pain in linux. If the manufacturer doesn't supply a linux driver, your probably out of luck. Not familiar with that particular model but many have the option to use either usb or ethernet. If so, use ethernet; linux loves ethernet and you rarely have a problem with a modem connected through ethernet.

I thought that my usb modem wasnt gunna work in linux, then I found out about the "eciadsl" project.... or something like that...you'll have to search it - There were heaps of modems supported - It depends on the chip inside the modem, perhaps yours is one?

Sorry if this info is useless, but i'd thought i'd throw it in...
