bluetooth and wifi monitoring by Nagios XI


Hi friends,
I want to know that if nagios XI can monitor bluetooth and wifi devices ?
Is there any plugin available for the same ?

I could not find anything related to this.

yes, you can check if the device is up or not with nagios you don't need plugin, just check if the IP for the particular device is reachable or not.

Thats ok,
i can check wifi devices (routers etc.) by pinging them...
but what about any Mobile devices having bluetooth on ? I dont think it would have an IP address ?

Sorry, but no. Bluetooth devices don't HAVE IP addresses.

rohitchauhan, you can use any command-line bluetooth tool (like hcitool) and easily write your own script. There may be something for Nagios already done, have you tried checking their website????
