BIZARRE BLUE SCREEN FILLED WITH CAPITAL "L"s

I have been learning Linus(x) for three years and have played around with almost every flavour. I am a copy-paster and get my self into trouble frequently....haha. But, that's how you learn.

Currently I am dual-booting Elementary Hera 5.1.2 and Ubuntu Focal on an old Toshiba Satellite. Everything has been running like butter until today out of the "blue" (whilst playing Dark Mod via Wine) my machine just shut down. Powered down.

I powered on and went straight to Grub as usual...chose EOS and then BLUE SCREEN full of capital "L"s. WHAT THE F??? Haha. Then after 10 secs or so EOS pops up and everything is normal...............BUT, this is weird.........something isn't right.

Anyone have any clue? I apologize if this is one of those eye-rolling questions............but, I have DuckDuckGo'ed it all day and can't find anyone with the same screen. I thank anyone that has read this far and anyone that might offer an address to my quandary.

If anyone sees this and is interested, I am ready to provide a plethora of terminal output. Everyone is going to ask for different output, so, I think it might be more effective to wait for requests. THANK YOU !!!

It looks like your laptop boots without issues, correct? I would guess that the L's are just some garbage left in video memory.

Did it happen once or does it reoccur? At what precise point do you see that screen?
