banner message before telnet login

Hello,

I can't figure out how to modify the banner message when you telnet/ssh into my system.

I'm not talking about the MOTD File.

What I want to change is when you login to my linux box, it says:

Red Hat Linux release 9 (Shrike)
Kernel 2.4.20-24.9 on an i686

What do I have to modify to change this to something else?

Thanks in advnace!

Thank You Demonbane

That doesnt quite work though.

This modifies the message when you log in at one of the local terminals, but when you log in remotely, it still shows the standard message. It must be in a different file.

Anyone know where it is?

Thanks again!
