autostart application in thinstation


hi
how can i do autostart my apllication in thistaion (light weight OS)
??
i know i have to write script , but i am confused how to write? please help me. my application is squid 2.6

i have squid script but how to use it.please give me procedure , how to manage it

place the script in /etc/rc.d/init.d/ directory and change the execute permission #chmod 755 scriptname
Autostart when system boot
#chkconfig --level 345 squid on
All these are based on Linux system

thanks
but i am using thinstation , it have no chkconfig command, its have own procedure to startup application on boot, during boot its read /etc/rc5.d/S10squid scripts which is symlink of /etc/init.d/squid
than what should i do ??
