Question ATI 3d Rage pro sound problem FEDORA CORE 4

Hi everyone!

My ATI 3d Rage Pro sound adapter isn't being reconized by Ferdora Core 4.
I have tried running it both on KDE and Gnome, but I still got the pop-up saying that there was a problem with my sound adapter.
What should I do to fix this problem??
Please help,
ALBUCA

Good afternoon,

The ATI Rage Pro is a video chipset, not an audio chipset. Go to a terminal and type "lspci" and ping the thread with the output. We will then be able to tell what audio chipset you are using. For example...

h2so4 ~ # lspci
