apt-get install cifs-utils won't install.


root@kali:~# apt-get install cifs-utils

You're running into an authentication problem, try running the following and then try to install cifs-utils again.

Code:
apt-key update
apt-get update

I don’t think that’s the problem - OP bypassed that warning.
Maybe package lists are out of date? No ‘apt update’ first?
