newbie apache question...

i have apache up and running on redhat 9. my only problem is that by default the "usage" folder seems to be public. in other words i can go to mywebsite/usage and see usage statistics for the site. is there a "best practice" as to locking down this directory? or moving it... deleting it... ?

You can always use .htaccess to setup a username and password to gain access to this page/directory, etc.
