add my user account to the root group

Sorry for such a stupid question but I am new to linux. I am running SuSe 9.1 and I want to add my user account to the root group. Can someone tell me how to do that?

The easiest way in my experience is to simply open /etc/group with vi, nano, or emacs and just add the user to the wheel group like so:

Thanks, but i got it. I needed to go into the YaST2 and configure it there.
